Dr. Lisa Trevino Volunteering at Festival de Mayo

Thank you to Dr. Lisa Trevino of Cornerstone Kids Dental for volunteering her time at the Festival de Mayo. This festival was held on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Reliant Park. A dental booth was set up and allowed for screenings. The festival featured vendor booths exhibiting arts, crafts, authentic foods, fun, games, and non-stop live music, celebrating the pageantry, sounds and culture of the Hispanic community. Dr. Trevino was absolutely perfect with my one year old son who at this age is terrified of unfamiliar faces. She was able to do his cleaning and all that she needed to do with not a single sound out of him, he even allowed her to lay his head in her lap without a fight. She made him feel extremely comfortable and soothed him with the singing of the ABC’s. No complaints here and we will be coming back. We have two older children who also come and have been for several years.
